Like the unpredictability of the weather during Championship Weekend, so too was the outcome of Class 4A Boys team competition. In what turned out to be a tight three way team battle, the Taos Tigers emerged victorious, defending their team title. The final standing saw the Tigers atop the podium, the Hope Christian Huskies as runner-ups, and the Bloomfield Bobcats in third, 67-65.5-64.

Using a well balanced attack that saw the Tigers earn All-State honors in 15 of the 19 events from seven of their 15 state entrants, the Tigers found just enough to repeat.
