Amid tumultuous weather conditions, resulting in an uncertain race schedule, and the need to constantly adjust, the Ruidoso Lady Warriors had just enough to finish atop the podium. In what ended up being a three team battle, the Lady Warriors claimed the blue trophy over the Sandia Prep Lady Sun Devils and Hope Lady Huskies 67-66-61.
The Warriors came into the weekend with 14 state entrants and four top seeds, and over the course of the weekend they out performed those seeds. While Shalom Keller (200m) and Andi Harrelson (Long Jump) both claimed Individual State Titles, the Warriors also got another from Harrelson in the Javelin, as well as claiming Firsts in 4x100m and 4x200m.
