The 2015 edition of the Rio Rancho Invitational was a day of sunny skies and howling winds. The weather forecast promised constant wind and occasional gusts of over 50 mph, and that's exactly what was delivered. However, the assembled athletes did their best to bring out their best, and many fine performances were submitted on this challenging day. As I looked over the grandstands, it was easy to see that the stands were full of cheering fans. It's a great sign to see strong gates in spite of the weather, and the athletes gave a wonderful show.
In the end, the 2015 Rio Rancho Invitational provided an intriguing glimpse of the team strengths and individual standouts present throughout the state. The wind certainly impacted the performances, but the cream always rises...
