2014 Rio Rancho Jamboree – Championship Division

Boys Championship Division:

The assembled field represented many of the finest teams from New Mexico, and it brought together the best teams and individuals from every classification. Raced along the Rio Rancho High School campus and surrounding hills, with bright sunny skies and dry sand welcoming all to test their mettle amid the classic New Mexican setting.

The starter’s pistol signaled the beginning of the race, and the Belen duo of Aaron Valenzuela and Jared Garcia took the pace out fast with Miyamura’s Niles Thomas during the opening 800 meters, and their blistering pace created immediate separation from the pack.
