Many of the same teams that toed the line two weeks ago at the Albuquerque Academy Invite will return to the very same course this weekend for the Albuquerque Metro Championships. Three weeks, while a short span, quite a bit has happened in that time. Let’s take a look at what has transpired since with all the teams either ranked, or who received votes, in the latest Super Cinco Coaches Poll.

The New Mexico #1 Rio Rancho Rams chose to attend the Capital City Invite in lieu of attending the Academy Invite. In the Capital, the Rio Rancho boys proceeded to torch the six team field scoring 16 points in a span of 12 seconds, while the girls dropped 25 points on their competitors. The following week was covered here, but let’s just say, the Rams are riding high.
