Last year, there wasn't much mystery going into the 5A boys state meet. There wasn't much mystery during the meet. And, there certainly wasn't any mystery at the end of the meet. The Storm has lost some key pieces, but will things be any different this year? Let's take a closer look and see if there's any chance of that.

What you see below are a lot of hand times, and that makes for difficult prognostication. Hand times are subject to a lot of variability. What we do know, however, is that Ivan Cornelius and CJ Williams are the top two returners from state and therefore likely the two guys to beat--even though the rankings below don't show that in any transparent sort of way. This does, however, have the look of a strong event for Cibola.
