The graduation of Zach Johnson leaves a big hole here for Piedra Vista, but Beau Clafton will be counted on to step up. Burbank beat Ferguson at state last year, so there should be plenty left in doubt for this year right up until state this year. And, isn't it more fun that way, anyway?
Devon Sparkman, only an eighth grader last year (but a state finalist nevertheless), is one we'll need to watch closely as he adds a year of maturity to his frame.
