Next year's New Mexico 3A is a lot like this year's 2A with the top and bottom ends of enrollment chopped off. As such, it should be wide open up some nice opportunities for a few schools.
Laguna-Acoma is the team with the most returning tradition in the ranks, but the Hawks will have to find a way to replace a couple of key graduates from this year's team. Somehow, though, the Hawks find a way to do exactly that every year. Austyn Salvador and Justin Chino are the two top returning guns. The rest of the roster will have to fill in nicely around them for L-A to get back to the top.
Laguna-Acoma will be pointing toward likely targets in Pecos and Santa Fe Prep. Pecos was a young team that showed well, just behind behind Zuni, Laguna-Acoma, and East Mountain at this year's state meet. The Panthers get their top back in Ryan Sa...
