The 2013 Rio Rancho Jamboree is the largest meet in New Mexico XC, drawing teams from every quadrant in the Land of Enchantment, all with eyes towards solidifying their place among the state’s best competition. 
 
The site is Rio Rancho High School, and the course is forbidding enough to beat up runners through lightning fast opening 800, soft and steep sand dunes, and frenzied crowds lined along the entire course.  
If the UNM lobo Invitational presents 5000 fans with a beautiful experience of September XC, The Rio Rancho Jamboree affords those same 5000 fans the chance to see championship style racing on a classic XC style of course. Saturday’s competitions were true slugfests, as the sizable fields created new challenges for the seasoned harriers and excitable coaches.
