The girls had their turn yesterday. Now, our attention shifts to the top individual boys coming out of early-season action:
5A
Jared Mayoral of Cleveland leads this crowd with the top 5A time out of the Lobo Invitational. Adam Monroe, Aaron Flores, and Devin Paredes were the next three finishers at UNM, and you can't help but notice the shuffling of order within teams from last year. Mayfield's Aaron Thalmann has had a couple of very nice showings down south to start the season. Those are your early leaders with four or five more nipping at their heels.
4A
Early indications are that 4A may be stronger than 5A this fall, at least so far as top individual males are concerned. Kyle Carrozza won big at UNM, and that has him currently parked at the top of the order. Heat will come his way from up north in the forms...
