If you enjoy races that start out with no decisive favorite, then you just might take a liking to next year's 4A boys contest.
Based on returning athletes and their performances this year, defending champion Albuquerque Academy goes in as the favorites, but not as big favorites. In particular, Artesia and Los Alamos look to be loaded adequately to make a serious run, but there are several teams close enough to keep every top contender honest between now and next May.
