JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The Savannah State track team participated in the North Florida Invitational held May 13-14 at Hodge Stadium.
SSU placed in the top ten in three women events and three men events.
Amara Jones was second in the women's 200m (23.71), the women's 4x400m relay team of
Aleah Hordges, Jazy Seay-Blane, Dominique Givance and Jones finished third (3:48.40) and Seay-Blane was 4th in the 400m (56.64).
Felton Chinn led the Savannah State men with a 4th place finish in the 400m hurdles (53.77).
Ruben Isreal-McBee was 6th in the 5000m (15.42.91) and
Tyrone McCoy was 9th in the 800m (1:34.08).
