Girls Hepthalon Left to Right

Lindsay Vollmer of Penney High School started things of with a bang for Team Missouri with a win in the heptathlon.  Her score of 5133 is the 3rd best all time score at the Great Southwest Meet.
 
Anicka Newell of New Mexico wins the Girls Decathlon over Sydne Haase of Missouri.
 
Evan Weinstock of Nevada came out on top in the Boys Decathlon with 6383 points.
 
On Friday evening Eleanor Fulton of Colorado and Pat Zacharias of New Mexico won the 2000 Meter Steeplechase in times of 6:55.38 and 6:12.44 respectively.
 
 
 
 
Devin Bogert of Texas set a meet record and posted a US #5 mark of 221-8.75 in the Javelin.  For the Girls it was Avione Allgood of Nevada with a mark of 155-9.
 

 

Texas Girls, led by Diamond Dixon, win the 4x200 with a time of 1:36.56

 

Texas Boys win the 4x200 out of heat 1 in a time of 1:27.77, holding off New Mexico (1:28.20).

 

Merritt Van Meter won the Pole Vault, just missing a new US # 1 with a vault of 13'6.

 

 

Team Utah won the Girls 4x800 Meter Relay with a time of 9:13.74.  On the boys side it was Nevada in a time of 7:49.11.

 

 

LaTristan Pledger of Kansas won the Girls 100 Hurdles over Heptathlon Winner Lindsay Vollmer, 13.82 to 14.32.

 

Jeylin Reed of Texas won the Boys 110 Hurdles in a time of 13.88.

 

 

Ashley Weber of Arizona took first in the Girls Hammer with a throw of 131-06.  Kirby Carter of Texas won the Boys Hammer Throw with a mark of 168-10.

 

Octavious Freeman of Florida ran what would be a new US #1 time of 11.11 to win the Girls 100 Meter Dash.  On the Boys side it was Oliver Bradwell of Kansas with a US #4 time of 10.34.

 

 

 

 

Jill Rushin of Missouri won the Girls Shiot Put with a mark of 46-10.75.  For the Boys it was Ryan Minkley of Oklahoma with a throw of 59-10.5.

 

In the 1500 it was Jamie Stokes of Utah and Wade Meddles of Nevada in times of 4:46.20 and 4:03.80 respectively.

 

 

The 400 Meter Dash Winners were Kierraa Hamilton of Texas and Jywyne Allen of Oklahoma in times of 56.64 and 47.86

 

 

Jordan Burgess of Texas won the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 37.26.  For the Girls it was Mariam Amadu, also of Texas, winning with a time of 42.58.

 

 

 

In the 800 Kelsey Brown of Utah held of Elanor Fulton of Colorado and Kianna Ruff of Missouri to win with a time of 2:13.02.  Pre-Race Favorite Kyle Thompson outkicked the field in the last 100 meters to win the Boys 800 in 1:55.83.

 

  

 


Octavious Freeman of Florida doubled back to win the 200 in a US #2 23.19.  Oliver Bradwell also doubled back from the 100 winning in 20.99.
