There are all sorts of ways to measure "top boys" at any given meet. And, at a meet like NXR-SW, the list of "top" boys could get out of hand in a hurry.

So, to simplify things, we'll define the top boys as those who finished with one of the top ten combined times at their state meet. Arguably, that leaves out some important characters, but it does having the redeeming virtue of simplicity.

Members of the top ten times club from each Southwest region state who are currently registered for NXR-SW include:

Nevada - Austin Rogers, Green Valley (2); Chase Wood, Faith Lutheran (3); Leonardo Rubi, Green Valley (8)

Arizona - DJ Harris, Desert Vista (1); Cade Burks, Perry (3); Drew Burns, Brophy College Prep (5); Xavier Esparza, Desert Vista (6); Manuel Olivo-Quinones, Buena (7); Diego Lopez, Apollo (9); Habtamu Cheney, Desert Vista (10)

New Mexico - Niles Thomas, Miyamura (1); Andrew Bosquez, Hobbs (2); Alex Heffelfinger, East Mountain (3); Connor Laktasic, Eldorado (4); Michael Tenorio, Santa Fe Indian School (5); Nicholas Jamison, Miyamura (6); Jericho Cleveland, Volcano Vista (7); Jordan Lesansee, Albuquerque Academy (8); Kashon Harrison, Kirtland Central (9); Thomas Salas, Onate (10)

Colorado - Paul Roberts, Lyons (1); Tanner Norman, The Classical Academy (2); Ben Butler, SkyView Academy (3); Alec Hornecker, Golden (4); Isaac Green, Monarch (5); Jake Mitchem, Broomfield (6); Steven Goldy, Arapahoe (7); Max Martinez, Widefield (8); Henry Raymond, Poudre (9); Paxton Smith, Mountain Vista (10)

Utah - Casey Clinger, American Fork (1); Alek Parsons, Ogden (2); William Handley, Timpanogos (4); Garek Bielaczyc, East (5); Joe Benson, Timanogos (6); Connor Arnell, Lehi (7); Adam Haynes, Bingham (8); Garrett Barton, Ogden (9)

While top runners from each state are generally very nicely represented, New Mexico and Colorado share the distinction of sending all of their top ten times from state meets to NXR-SW.
