The NCAA Early Signing Period is now two weeks past and few New Mexico Athletes took the opportunity to commit to their future institutions of higher learning. We continue highlighting these moments with a Santa Fe standout.

Name: Victoria Quintana

School: Santa Fe

Signing With: Fort Lewis College

What clinched the decision for the school you signed with: I visited the school over the summer and fell in love with the campus and the town. Once I met Coach Dutro, I knew that he would continue to guide me as I pursued my running career.

Favorite track event: I've always loved the 3200. It is not only the longest race but it's a mental and physical game.

Favorite high school athletic memory: My freshman year of Cross Country, both the girls and boys team made it to state for the first time in about ten years. I was honored to be apart of such a profound moment for the school and my coach.
